Traditional Karate Ontario
At Traditional Karate Ontario, we are committed to preserving the rich heritage of Shotokan karate while fostering a supportive and inclusive community. Whether you’re new to martial arts or a seasoned practitioner, our club provides expert instruction for all skill levels and ages.
Shotokan karate is more than just physical training—it’s a path to personal growth, self-discipline, and mental focus. Through precise techniques, mindful practice, and rigorous training, our students develop confidence, resilience, and respect both in and out of the dojo.
We offer classes for adults, children, and seniors, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone. With our highly skilled and passionate instructors, you’ll receive personalized guidance to help you achieve your individual goals.
Traditional Karate Ontario is directly affiliated with the World Traditional Karate Organization.
The Chief Instructor of the WTKO is Richard Amos Sensei 8th Dan who together with John Mullin Sensei 9th Dan and Scott Middleton Sensei 7th Dan, has overseen the development of the association since 2000.
Because of this affiliation, Traditional Karate Ontario is bound by strict rules and procedures to ensure all of our students get the highest quality of karate instruction. With this in mind, TKO hosts Scott Middleton Sensei, the International Director of the WTKO, twice a year in Tillsonburg. TKO instructors and students have the opportunity to travel to various training seminars throughout Canada.
Join us today and embark on a transformative journey of physical fitness, mental clarity, and self-defense with TKO!
